Danielle LaForte and her husband share a passion for exploring new wines with friends and family. Just over a year ago, they joined with a partner to create a comfortable and inviting space that provides visitors with a unique opportunity to taste best-rated wines from their vineyard, as well as those from the most well-known wine producing regions across New York State.
Ranked #18 on Travel+Leisures’ 2017 List of the Top Vineyards All Around the U.S., The Vineyard at Windham is beautifully situated on four scenic acres overlooking Windham Mountain, surrounded by year-round beauty. The tasting room is the perfect place to meet friends or host a special event – offering great views of the grounds and bathed in natural light.
The interior opens onto a spacious deck and patio that provides all the amenities for enjoying the great outdoors in comfort. From the umbrella-shaded tables, to the customized fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, to the bag-toss game area on elegantly-laid pavers, the exterior compliments the tasting experience from start to finish.
Fall hours begin on October 12th, with the Vineyard open on Fridays from 3-8PM and Saturdays from noon to 8PM through November 17th. Guests may choose to do a tasting flight, which ranges in price from $20 to $26, or purchase wine by the glass or bottle.

Expansion plans are also in the works to build a guest suite that will be available for visitors for getaways and special events.
