The growth in non-farm jobs was 400 from 14,200 to 14,600, or 2.8% percent during the period, which is also #1 in New York State. Eighty percent of all of the job growth in non-metropolitan New York in the last 12 months occurred in Greene County.
This measure is by place of work, so these are the jobs that are physically located in the County. New York State as a whole had growth of 1.2% and the US had growth of 2% in non-farm jobs during the same period.
